Yes, BITS Pilani accepts students who have completed their 12th grade through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), as NIOS is recognized by the Government of India.
However, NIOS students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for admission to BITS Pilani:

Eligibility for BITSAT: NIOS students can appear for BITSAT, the entrance exam for BITS Pilani, if they meet the academic criteria.

Subject Requirements: Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 12th standard (or equivalent) and should also be proficient in English.

Minimum Percentage Requirement: BITS Pilani typically requires candidates to have at least 75% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and at least 60% in each subject individually. This applies to NIOS students as well.

Additional Criteria: Students must fulfill any other eligibility requirements specified for BITSAT, such as the age limit and number of attempts allowed.
As long as these criteria are met, NIOS students have the same opportunity to secure a seat at BITS Pilani as students from other recognized boards.
